Picturing 2010 vs. 2006 - The Battle Tells All
Take a look at each battle Add up how many battles YOU think we will win. After adding up the won battles multiply that number by 1.354 and that is how many wins we will have in 2010, in your opinion.
Battle #1 - Matt Cassel's incredible intangibles, better protection, and more weapons vs. Damon Huard's 98.0 passer rating
Battle #2 - Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones vs. Larry Johnson and the O-Line's dominant season on the ground.
Battle #3 - Chris Chambers, Dwayne Bowe, and Dexter McCluster vs. Tony Gonzalez, Dante Hall, and Eddie Kennison.
Battle #4 - Eric Berry, Brandon Flowers, and Brandon Carr vs. the 2006 secondary
Battle #5 - Our 2010 Offensive line vs. those pictured above. (take away Roaf I think)
Battle #6 - Our 2010 defensive line vs. 69 and company
Battle #7 - Our 2010 linebackers vs. 2006 and a young Derrick Johnson with an up and coming Kawika Mitchell
Battle #8 - Scott vs. Carl
Battle #9 - Todd vs. Herm
Take a look at each battle, add up how many battles YOU think we will win. After adding up the won battles multiply that number by 1.354 and that is how many wins we will have in 2010, in your opinion.
*Please note that your mathematical outcome is 100% real.

Hmmm
I have four wins, two losses, and three ties. Have to believe the receiving(eddie kennison is so underrated) and Oline were better in 2006 but rushing game, dline and linebackers are probably a wash.

Cut the ties in half
Therefore, multiplying 5.5 × 1.354.
You really believe the rushing game is a wash?

Thanks guys
It’s no noble prize winner, that’s for damn sure. Just a fun, pointless, time consuming, something-to-do-for-me post.

Agree, GB. Also agree on Kennison.
I think DV helped him enjoy a real renaissance. Think of the career he’d’ve had if he’d been put with DV earlier, when his speed was truly dominant, and not just respectable.

Wins, Losses, other...
I gave us wins on GM, Coach, QB, RB.
Losses WR, D Line, O Line,
Push on LB, and Secondary.
I’m really unimpressed with our LB’s as a group. I know Tamba’s measurables line up with Doofervills but Vrabel looked reaaly old and most of the others are unproven… much like Mitchel and Johnson of the time. I hope our secondary is a win, but it is too soon to tell.
Roaf, Gonzolez, Allen explain my losses. I would trade any two WR’s we have now for Gonzo.
On wins, I didn’t realize how bad Herm was until after he left KC and somebody else had to bring in a mop and industrial cleaner. Peterson probably didn’t have to do much of anything with Marty there. If Marty was more aggressive on offense he might be coaching in KC today.
