Chiefs owner Clark Hunt is a known soccer enthusiast as evidenced by Major League Soccer's Columbus Crew and FC Dallas. Lamar Hunt was the founder of the Kansas City Wizards and, before Clark, owned the Crew and FC Dallas.

Hunt's love for soccer has taken him all the way to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup, according to football-turned-soccer-correspondent Peter King:

Rumors have connected Hunt to the purchase of several international teams including West Ham and Crystal Palace. He's reportedly denied those rumors.
