On Friday afternoon the jokes on Twitter started rolling in.

The Seahawks are switching places with USC. The Chiefs just joined the UFL and Mizzou is now in the AFC West, according to multiple sources

And:

I feel like the Big12 should stop whining and just work on getting the Royals and Chiefs to join.

At this point the Big 12 will play their championship game in an Olathe high school gym.

My Twitter followers weren't the only ones with a reaction to the news that Nebraska joined the Big 10 and four more Big 12 South schools were slated to join the Pac 10 next week. Chiefs players were talking about it as well.

"I don’t think so…I don’t think (Nebraska is going to dominate)," former Iowa TE Tony Moeaki said in response to Williams’ Husker pride.
