Tick Tock when is it going to be and how much?

Around the NFL there have been a few drafted players already sign with their teams. These are mainly lower level picks like 5th and 6th rounders but I was wondering what Arrowhead Prides predictions are on our first THREE picks. When, what month are they going to sign with the team? How much will they sign with the team for? How long will they sign with the team for?

My Guesses:

Round One (5)- S Eric Berry, will sign sometime in August 5 years/45 Million
Round Two (36)- RB Dexter McCluster will sign sometime in July 4 years/3 Million
Round Two (50)- CB Javier Arenas will sign sometime in July 5 years/3 Million

Take into consideration that these three are high round picks, and even though the rookie minimum salary for 2010 is $325,000 these three should get a significant paycheck! (I wouldn't mind the rookie salary at all.)

Here is our top three picks from last season and their signings:

Round One (3)- Tyson Jackson, Signed - 5-years, $57M ($31M guaranteed)
Round Three (67)- DE, Alex Magee, Signed - 4-years, $2.645M ($895,000 signing bonus)
Round Four (102) - CB, Donald Washington, Signed - 4-years, $2.269M ($519,785 signing bonus

Now these are totally uneducated guesses. Just trying to have some fun on a Friday and see how everyone feels about the contracts. I like everyone else in the world wants some sort of Collective Bargining Agreement to come about so we can see our guys on the field in 2011. We are creating a winner here in Kansas City and these guys need to play together for a couple years so the NFL and the Players Union need to work something out.

So what do you think AP are these guys going to be last of the rookies to get a big pay? How bad are you dying to see the Chiefs lock up Berry? How bad are you dying to see these guys on the field in OUR uniform?

Looks good doesn't it? Even the people who make the NFL cards know that Berry is going to have the ball in his hand all the time! I wonder how many other rookie Safeties out there got a card made with them holding the ball?
