I unfortunately have not had time to do this research myself so I was hoping a fellow Chiefs fan could answer this for me:

Has Denver re-signed Scheffler yet?

Last I saw, he was tagged with a first round.  I just think he would have an immediate impact on our offence as opposed to a potential draft pick.  With Cottam out with a back injury I just can’t see him being our number 2 guy.  I like Pope but he is not the big offensive threat we need (let’s face it, have you seen him run?  That’s entertaining stuff).  Picture our offence stepping onto the field with Charles or Jones, Cassel, Bowe, Chambers, Urban and Scheffler, not to mention any combination of the O-Line you care to create, I think we could destroy some defenses out there.

Now my only caveat is that I do not follow the college players much being in Canada so maybe a guy like Berry or McClain would be better for us with a 1st pick, or maybe we trade down to someone looking for Clausen early and then use a later 1st rd pick to get him?!?!
