The draft is FINALLY getting close and one topic that has been discussed to infinity is the Chiefs trading down in the draft. The opportunity to amass a few more picks and still get the player you want is always the ultimate goal. And to that end, yes, the Chiefs WILL trade down . . .
But in Round two . . . I won't debate that there is a possibility of trading down in Round one but many, many things would have to fall into place and the probablility is low. In Round two, it will be much more affordable for a team to move up plus there will be a handful of "first round" talent that falls into the early second round. I also expect to see a bit of "Tebow frenzy" where a few teams leapfrog each other in the second round for his services. Our 2A pick is in a sweet spot in this draft and will have offers . . . Do you want more picks or do you want Pioli to keep 2A and go best player available? Thoughts?
