I was debating even doing this because I usually try to pride myself on only putting out well written Fanposts but I have something I have to say. This fanpost has nothing to do with the fact I've had 6 or 7 Captain n' Cokes, because it's not the rum that's warming my heart, its love.
Heather, I think I love you.
From the moment you joined Arrowhead Pride I've been smitten and every comment you made has just solidified my love and admiration of you. As a guy, and a Chief fan, what could be better than having a girl who is not only beautiful but is also a Chief fan. My search is over, I found my soul mate.
That's why I am here sitting in my igloo up in Canada, drinking my Tim Horton's Coffee, eating Beaver meat with Maple syrup, counting my loonies, I have made a life altering decision. Its time to get married.
So without further adieu,
Heather, Will you marry me?
If you will marry me, perhaps we could do it at half time of the Chargers/Chiefs game on Monday Night Football. I can't think of a more romantic ceremony than getting married on National TV. If you will wait, perhaps we could wait until Chiefs play the Broncos and Tebow could perform the ceremony. That would be my dream scenario. I promise you I will be a wonderful and faithful husband, and despite proposing to you on a blog, I'm not a huge weirdo.

Get a high deductible plan combined with an HSA
I’m 27, no major ailments in my life so far, and I get my health and dental for under $100 monthly (Blue Shield PPO). I pay every dollar up to $3,500, but I essentially have it for catastrophic only which is all I care about. I can and should pay routine medical care out of pocket. Besides, you might as well take advantage of it now since these high-deductable plans are going to be banned effective January 2014 (thanks to Uncle Scam)

government health care is crap
i’ve had it for 8 years, and it’s been nothing but a pain in the ass. yah it’s a great idea, but in reality it doesn’t work very well. look at canada; you have to wait 10 years just to get a kidney….ok so that’s a little bit of an exaggeration, but not by much.

because if you end up in California with an income that places you in the top maginal bracket you’re gonna end up paying another 9.7% in state income tax, on top of a $0.095 sales tax on everything you buy. And this wretched state still can’t balance its budget. We make Greece and GM look like the models of austerity and fiscal sanity.

I was engaged to a Broncos fan and let me tell you, it was nearly impossible to hide my elation at the end of last year when they went through their now traditional late season meltdown. Especially in week 17, when we destroyed them. I had to sit there and nod in agreement as she’d spout crap like “Well we didn’t have Marshall or Sheffler today” and “The Broncos are getting all the penalties!” Between that and her inexplicable support of Jay Leno during the Tonight Show war, I think I can say without a doubt that she was the worst person in the world. From now on I’m sticking with my own kind.

it didnt last. Best to either find a true fan, if your are lucky…or just find someone who is a non-fan that you can convert into a true fan.

Bronco's fans always spout such wonderful crap.
At that game, halfway through the third quarter I hear a fan in the stands behind me say “Why do they keep giving him (Jamaal Charles) the ball? They know he’s getting it.” Then I look at the big screen and see Charles has 183 yards and it’s still the third quarter. I kept my mouth shut because I wanted to see the end of the game, but yeah he kept getting it because the Bronco’s couldn’t do anything to stop him (including a body slam).
IMO
Chosing Jay Leno over Conan O’Brien is worse than chosing Denver over KC.

My girl is a Patriots fan
so its not bad, since the Pats are one of the few AFC teams I genuinely like. But I keep trying to convince her that she needs to just become a Chiefs fan now that we got Scott Pioli calling the shots. I have to take her to Arrowhead one of these days so she finally converts and sees the light.

not to mention checking myself off that list too!
I managed to make the trip to KC last year for my first time ever & truly had the time of my life. This year, I won’t be able to pull that off, but I’m definitely making the drive to SD for that game. Hopefully next year I’ll earn enough points for another free flight & then I’ll do the KC trip again.
Honestly, I made myself sound like a gold digger & that is sooooo not me. It would just be nice to meet a fellow Chiefs fan & have a buddy to watch games with each week. That would be awesome!
I actually did meet a dude that was a Chiefs fan & we were supposed to go out on a date about a month ago & he just stopped calling & texting me. I got the feeling he was married or something because he would never answer the phone at night or text me, just during the day…loser! lol

ALL women are gold diggers in some way…and they should be. By that I mean that all women should expect a real man to take care of them, even if they are perfectly fine taking care of themselves. Independent women are awesome, but men still like to feel like they are coming to the rescue of their damsel in distress from time to time.
