NCAA Prospects: Three Players To Keep An Eye On

It is WAY too early to talk about the 2011 draft. I wont go there. Im sick of mocks. I will point out 3 players that fans should keep an eye on throughout the up coming NCAA season. 1. DE, Adrian Clayborn - A beast off the edge for the Hawkeyes. Coming in at 6’3 285 pounds, he is a nightmare for any offensive lineman. With his size and athleticism, he has a chance to transition to OLB. In 09’ he accumulated 11 sacks. Keep an eye on this guy. 2. NT, Jerrell Powe - Well, most of us wanted to grab a nose tackle in the 2010 draft. We didn't do it and only Pioli knows why. Maybe he has his eye on next years prospect Jerrell Powe out of Ole’ Miss comes in at 6’2 350 pounds. That is Wilfork size. This guy is huge and can plug gaps. Keep an eye on him as well! Pioli loves those SEC guys! 3. ILB, Dont’a Hightower - Everyone loved the IQ and skills McClain possessed, including me. Most did not like his athletic ability and speed. Hightower is now the Crimson Tides Mike ILB and he has that explosion and speed that McClain didn't, and he has it while being the same size as McClain. 6’4 255 pounds! Watch out for Nick Saban to make him the next 1st round Alabama linebacker. Ok, no more 2011 draft talk. Sorry lol :)
