Faneca, 33, didn't say where he might end up, but he figures to attract interest. The Jets owe him $5.25 million, so he probably will sign somewhere for the veterans minimum -- a bargain for a team looking for an accomplished former Super Bowl champion.
If he is signing for the minimum, I think it is worth giving him a call.

I know we have a lot of guards but
let them battle it out and may the best man play. He probably would not consider KC if he has a choice due to his age and possibly looking for a contender but it is worth a call.
Who would have ever guessed that one day the Chiefs might possibly elect to not bring in a stud guard based on the fact we may have too many offensive lineman?
