NT Garrett Brown - another team captain signed by KC

+
Here's a nice article on one of the newest Chiefs signed as an UDFA. Based on interest from 18 NFL teams and how he stacked up against the other prospects, Garrett Brown figured he had a shot at being drafted anywhere after the third round. Once he went undrafted, Brown and his agent ran through a list of the NFL teams that best suited his services. The Chiefs were the first team to call. It was a done deal. Brown said he signed at approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday. "They didn't draft any defensive tackles and they only have three on the team right now," Brown said. "That gives me a good chance. Hopefully, I can make the two-deep and the 53-man roster by the end of August."
