This day and age of technology is pretty awesome. In years past we wouldn't be able to get that much info on players, or the actual behind the scenes action. I just got done watching Pioli talking on the phone to Eric Berry. Pioli asked him if he remembered what they talked about, and to make sure he brought that attitude to the team.
Last night, I heard Josh McD talking to Tebow about how Tebow promised him certain things. McD went on to reiterate the things that they talked about, and how he better bring those things to the team. The more I watch the draft, the more I understand it's really a job interview at a grander scale. You would think the GMs and coaches wouldn't have to remind the draftees that they better deliver on what they promised, both in character, and on the field. It also makes me wonder what they'd say to known issues like Dez Bryant, and questionable choices like Jason Pierre Paul. Paul had great workouts, but scouts weren't sure how it would translate in the NFL.
It's great insight. I look fwd to the year where we can hear every teams call to their player.
