Today Peter King of SI wrote that he has heard the Eagles are interested in moving up in the draft to get either Eric Berry or Earl Thomas http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/peter_king/04/16/five.things/index.html?xid=cbssports . The Eagles have picks 24, 37, 55, and 70. If the Eagles come calling on draft day would you trade the 5th (assuming Berry is still on the board) for the 24th and 37th?
Personally I would do it. With the 24th we could pick up G/RT Mike Lupati or DT Cody. I'm not in favor of drafting Cody because I think he lacks a strong work ethic and doesn't fit "the right 53". At #36 we take the best OLB available. #37 we can address safety with Nate Allen or WR (Golden Tate?). At 50 look to fill biggest remaining hole.
Based off the draft chart we would certainly be getting ripped off, but this is a deep draft so I'm of the opinion that the more picks in the top 40 the better.
