Now because i'm only 18 years old and live in Australia, I haven't know the chiefs as long as the rest of AP. I got into NFL back in 2003, the year the Trent Green lead offence went 13-3 but failed to advance through the playoffs. That year was the best chance the chiefs have had of making it to the Super Bowl since 1993. Following that trend it seems we will have to wait until 2013 until we are a contender again.

In 1993 the heroes were, as I know it, Joe Montana, Derrick Thomas, and Marcus Allen. In 2003 it was Trent Green, Priest Holmes and Tony Gonzalez. So who will the next chiefs heros be, If 2013 is the year, that is. The past two times a QB has been the hero, but can Matt Cassel be a hero? Time will tell. What about you AP? Who do you think will be the next heroes to don the red and gold? I have a feeling Jamaal Charles will be a favourite. but others like Tamba Hali, Brandon Flowers and Glenn Dorsey have the talent plus the team first attitude that fans love.
