Multiple league sources tell us that receiver Dez Bryant has advised the NFL's 32 teams that he won't be working out at the school's March 10 Pro Day. Instead, he'll hold a separate workout on March 25.

Stay Away Please!
Not the type of player I want. Glad we are picking in the 5th spot and don’t have to worry about this guy.
What is he doing?
someone is going to throw money his way but he is going to turn into the next Crabtree. After being suspended i would be out there trying to showcase my skills for any team.
Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....
I dunno...
A lot of guys do this. And really, sometimes I don’t blame them. They have a lot to prove and want to make sure they’re the center of attention. They have a lot of money riding on it.
Then again, I may be being too nice about this.
Good thing we’re either gonna get Eric Berry or Russell Okung :)
The puzzle is almost finished.
2010: Year of the Chiefs
+1
This isn’t abnormal for top prospects. Sure, most perform at their schools’ pro days, but lots of guys wait and do it in private workouts.
Much ado about nothing.

What exactly has he done that is so "High Maintenance"
I’m not saying this to be a dick but besides a questionable relationship with Deion Sanders, what exactly did he do? Seriously, I don’t blame him for what he did. If I was a 20 year old budding superstar and Primetime offered to council me, I’d have done the same thing. I’m not sure how that warranted a year long suspension

exactly
everybody is claiming high maintenance but I can tell you this living here in Oklahoma there was never any talk about Dez being what people are claiming him to be he was always a great teammate and fantastic athlete
i hear alot about him living in Oklahoma as well
and before the suspension he was highly thought of. Now his actions at present are going to make a few people raise their eyebrows but if its his agents call then so be it.

not the relationship, but that he lied about it, and that he maybe faked an injury to get out of the combine
then doesn’t want to work out with his school. not to mention, he has questionable comintment issues in the past; well, ok i mentioned it
From what Ive read and heard
he wasnt suspended for his interactions with Deion, he was suspended cuz he lied about it during the investigation when he was questioned
That's the way I understood it, too
He won’t be a Chief, anyway. So, it really doesn’t matter.
Yup! The guy might feel some resentment from his program for not supporting him through this whole NCAA investigation
So why do a workout on campus if you don’t feel entirely comfortable with the people there?

Glad you said it
I was afraid my own broken record would be forced to skip again.

I dont think he is in shape
Why does he keep pushing his workouts back? I use to advocate for this guy, but im scared now. Hopefully we dont draft him!
I think Lawrence is where we're headed with the #2 spot
we shouldn’t worry about drafting Bryant
KRRRAKATAWAA
Even more of a reason that if the Chiefs are interested in this clown
Just sign Marshall to an offer sheet. I would hate giving the Donks our top 5 pick but better off having a guy we know can produce than someone we have no clue about. Marshall will probably come cheaper than Dez as well.
Isn't it sad
that a player as good as Marshall will make the same amount or less than a guy who hasn’t even caught a pass in the NFL. They have to get some kind of rookie cap worked out
Yeah, Marshall's so much less a clown than Dez Bryant
Isn’t it a shame we can’t do the sarcastic font in post titles?

No shit
I cannot STAND Brandon Marshall. IMO, he is the biggest douchebag in the entire league. Twice as bad as TO ever thought about being.

At least TO never had the thug issue against him, y'know?

Even better if we work out a deal with
Parcells or Bellichick and have them sign Marshall and trade him to us for our pick.
Yeah. And why don't we sign T.O. too...while we're at it.
Trade for Marshall, sign T.O., and draft Bryant. We can “corner the market” on prima donna WR’s.
No interest in Dez
Marshall is not the prima donna type. Some people might have problems with other aspects of him but he isn’t a prima donna. As far as TO, he is a little old for a team that is where we are and Haley doesn’t care for him so it won’t happen.
I saw all I needed to see...
With Marshall’s little tantrum he threw last year in camp. I’ll pass…no matter how good he is.
Character and professionalism means something to me. It doesn’t to everyone…and that’s cool. But, it does to me.
He's already dictating who the Boss is.
He’s on a train to nowhere. His arrogance & behavior is indicative of a primadonna wannabe. He must be giving his agent fits.
Even the lowly (kidding) Chiefs won’t draft him in the 7th round.
He saying show me the money. I’m saying I’ll show you the door.
Scott Pioli's star will shine in 2010.
Win or lose, the Chiefs scare the bejesus of all opponents in 2010
Sorry Scott B. did'nt mean to use your prima donna quote.
You must have slipped it in while I was typing.
Great minds think alike.

That's the same date as when Bradford is working out in Norman, OK.
If Dez isn’t woking out in OK as well he’s going to divide offensive staffs for teams
My God
This guy is proving to be as bad a crabtree. DIVA!

This guy will to
no doubt. It still doesn’t change the fact that he’s creating an impression that will turn teams off.

We talkin about practice
what are we talkin about. practice? how am i supposed to make my teammates better by practicing?
1. Are they an upgrade over what we already have?
2. Do they have high football IQ?
3. Can they make a difference from Day 1?
4. Do they have a history of leadership?
5. Sign him up.
Based upon comments Haley
made to Steve Wyche of NFL network at the combine, I wouldn’t be so sure that the Chiefs don’t draft him. Haley told Wyche the team is looking for playmakers and not just the trench guys. He didn’t specify which side of the ball so it could be defensive players and not offensive. Berry, Bryant and McClain all fit the playmaker category for our #5 in the 1st. Anyone of those guys would be great to have.
