Chiefs UFA Wade Smith Leaves Houston, Heads To Arizona
Former Kansas City Chiefs reserve lineman Wade Smith left the Houston Texans today apparently without a contract. This was his second stop since starting off free agency with a visit to the Buffalo Bills.
Now he will head on to Arizona to visit the Cardinals, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.d
The visit will happen tomorrow.
(Side note: So now the Cardinals are looking at former Chiefs!)
I've said before (a few times by now) that bringing Wade Smith back would be a good move for the Chiefs. He was one of a handful of unrestricted free agents.
It's unclear at this point if the Chiefs offered him a contract and he's just testing the market or if no offer was extended from Kansas City.

Bring in Lilja
resign Smith, try out Brown, sounds good. Any work on O’Call, i know we tendered him but at what level?
Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....
Wade is getting a free tour
Versatile OL man who started 9 games last year – he will find a home
He’s always open. He catches a lot of balls. He’s un-guardable, no matter how old he is
