Oscars - The Chicago Bears just signed Quinton Aaron who played Michael Oher in The Blind Side to 5 yr/$50mil deal.

I thought this was pretty funny.

Consider this an Oscars open thread

Not that I’m watching it with Ms. Primetime or anything.

Sackintosh tried out for the part...

But his blocking wasn’t very believable.

I haven't seen the Blindside yet but I'm 1/2 done the book

Its a great read. The story is great and there is actually alot of football X’s and O’s.
The whole first chapter is about Lawrence Taylor and what a force he was. The whole time I thought how much I wanted a dominant OLB like him.

Would you sleep with the Big Girl from Precious

If it meant you could sleep wiht Charlize Theron?

Sure

But I’m not sure a blindfold would help when sleeping with someone that makes Terrance Cody look anorexic

Whoa, whoa

Let’s make this tough, Calgary!

I say no blindfold! Lights on!

Has anyone seen The Hurt Locker?

I’m not a huge fan of War movies, but certainly this one has been getting alot of good reviews

Hurt Locker was my favorite movie of the year

Wasn’t even close. Rent it ASAP.

I did think it was a bit of a down year, nothing really great. Inglorious Bastards was probably my 2nd fav.

Up In the Air, which I thought would be right in my wheelhouse, was a bit of a disappointment for me.

Funniest Part Is

He probably would have been an upgrade over Orlando Pace last season. The Bears had a rotten o-line.

Ironically enough

Michael Oher was compared to Orlando Pace several times in the book

I watched them while finishing my taxes

And I’m finally done!

So I’m out. Good night AP.

And Texas, I’m with you on Charlize. I think we were the only ones to step up to the ‘Precious Challenge.’

Good for Hurt Locker, it's deserving of the win.

At least, much more deserving than Avatar, in my opinion.

we'd only need one

but signing both would ensure that the other teams didn’t get them.
