Oh boy -- Brandon Marshall expected to be in Seattle on Saturday to visit the Seahawks and see if they can hammer out an offer sheet.

How does Denver get McCoy?

Denver will not get the #6 pick for Marshall, imo they will negotiate a different pick such as the

even if they did get the 6

(Which they won’t) they still wouldn’t be a lock to get mccoy considering he’s projected as a top 3 pick.

Bask in the glory that is Kwame Harris. Poor Alex...

by JHWK on Mar 5, 2010 2:25 PM CST via mobile up reply actions

1. StL – Bradford
2. Det – Okung <—- assuming they go OT, which I’m really starting to believe they will.
3. TB – Suh
4. Was – Clausen
5. KC – Berry
6. Den – McCoy

McCoy seems to be the odd man out if Detroit doesn’t take a DT. We’re not taking a DT, and Washington most likely isn’t either.

If Seattle signs Marshall to an offer sheet and Denver doesn’t match, then Denver gets Seattle’s natural 1st rounder… the 6th overall pick.

by Yashi on Mar 5, 2010 2:38 PM CST up reply actions

This is possible

But highly unlikely…at least according to the source (Shefter) which we are trusting that he is headed to Seattle.

And I agree. Just last week, Peter King was saying he might be able to be had for a 2nd.

by kcsno56 on Mar 5, 2010 2:40 PM CST up reply actions

I just hope the Broncos don't end up with their 1st

2nd…ok, but I’d hate for them to add another high draft pick.

by kcsno56 on Mar 5, 2010 2:02 PM CST reply actions

Would Denver draft #6 overall?

That would also make it even that much more important to who we draft. If we dont get Berry, and Denver gets him, that would be terrible!

by Larryemcdaniel on Mar 5, 2010 2:04 PM CST reply actions

shhhh Larry,

if Denver gets the 6th pick and they draft Berry, then we’d have to face a Denver DB field of Dawkins, Berry and Champ Bailey. not good

The Greatest Trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

Officially on the FIRE TODD HALEY BANDWAGON.

Hurry, someone put up that pic of Flowers waving bye bye to Denver.

My bold prediction and I think our best chance at moving down in the 1st. Bret Favre retires, Tavarris Jackson is not retained or leaves and the Vikings trade up, with our beloved Chiefs, for Jimmy Claussen.

WRITE IT DOWN!

by BigRedChief on Mar 5, 2010 2:15 PM CST reply actions

Seattle should not give a 1st rd pick

I am sick of Denver getting all these first rounders for getting rid of their crybabies…

Patience is truly a virtue, good things will happen soon

Housh and Marshall? Thats a hell of a combo.

Too bad bald asshole Hasselbeck is throwing to them.

Not tim, he sucks. I mean, how the hell does elizabeth hasslebeck end up on ESPN???

by LHO on Mar 5, 2010 2:38 PM CST up reply actions

I think Elizabeth is married to Matt’s brother Tim!

Seattle are stupid.

Id bet my hat that Marshall can be had for less then a first if they work out a trade instead.

by GenericBrand on Mar 5, 2010 2:47 PM CST reply actions

if denver gets that #6 pick, it could help

there will be a lot of specualtion about them taking a QB. Teams will want to leapfrog them and we might be willing to trade down for less value if it means that denver doesnt get what they want

1. Are they an upgrade over what we already have?
2. Do they have high football IQ?
3. Can they make a difference from Day 1?
4. Do they have a history of leadership?
5. Sign him up.

I think Seattle is more likely to take a QB than Den

But I don’t think Den gets the #6 pick, under any circumstances.

Sweet!

That must mean we’re sending MoLegg to Seattle!

by JacinB on Mar 5, 2010 2:55 PM CST up reply actions

You guys do realize that...

If that trade goes through, Denver will potentially acquire any combination of two from the players listed below:

Eric Berry
Dez Bryant
Rolando McClain
Dan Williams

That would b even uglier than having Matshall in the AFC West
