Around SBN: Tottenham's Plans for Northumberland Stadium Approved

Unless Williams' health has declined so rapidly that he can't play at all, we'd expect him to draw serious interest from the Bills -- who need a NT to convert to a 3-4 -- as well as the Cardinals, Chiefs and Dolphins, who are looking for an upgrade.

To me Williams has officially become our most important signing of the offseason.

He can stilll play and hard to claim he’s injury prone. Hes not a longterm solution but like WC said if we can start him for two years with a guy like Troup spelling him for some reps we’ll be in good shape.

What injuries though?

He was sidelines last season and that was really his only recent issue with injuries. He’s only 33 and only missed 5 games total the 6 previous seasons to last year.

Health is the main concern

I would fully support signing Williams, as long as a) Wilfork can’t be had for a 2nd round pick and b) Williams comes at a reasonable price. c) would be him passing a physical, but that is obviously a given.

Williams would still be a major upgrade over Edwards and would help our run defense tremendously, while hopefully making the players around him (notably T-Jax, Dorsey, and ILBs) better. He could also mentor a draftee and provide 2-3 years of solid contribution. Sign him up!

Anyone with Insider access?

I checked the rumors page and there is a bunch of crazy rumblings going on. Curious if there is an evidence to these claims or if it is all pure speculation.
