Sproles Debacle (NSFW)

PrintOnce again I had a camera on the scene as the Sproles debacle unfolded today. For those of you who dont know, AJ Smith screwed the League and Sproles in my opinion on free agency. Sproles will again have to settle for that get up your momentum and fail act that San Diego pulls each year, now under the infamous stone faced Norv Turner. We also found out little man was going to visit Arrowhead this weekend.
Without further a due here we go.

well done, Lanier … and to think I was ready to rip you a new one (and offer some cheese for your whine) just from reading the post title … hell, the way I see it, it’s just “business as usual” in the NFL
thing is … is Sproles really WORSE off staying with a very likely playoff team like the Chargers, or would he REALLY be better off coming to a team like KC that’s struggled rather a lot lately? and for the money he’s going to make, somehow I imagine he can manage to get by in Chargerland another year

okay i have cerebral palsy arthris and chronic fatigue as well i have a great life and loveing folks some days are better than other days i got a make-a-wish in 2001 and saw my favorite team the broncos it was the trip of a lifetime i wish everyone couild have gotten to enjoy that with me i know some of u hate the broncos and that okay but i bleed organ and bule for my mnr fans but i bleed orange and blue denver will rise again resident broncos fan for every blog resident broncos for stampede bule thanks shvd98z24

They are now saying Sproles is available for the right price.
Personally I think that they told him they wouldnt tender him then once they saw the Chiefs name tied to him they changed their minds. The price is probably pretty cheap but at least this way they can control that he doesnt end up kicking their asses twice a year for the next 5 years.

That’s hilarious! As a die-hard Chiefs fan living in San Diego, I was looking forward to sticking it to the “Sad Diego Stupid Chargers” fans by getting Sproles. Guess I’ll have to stick to asking them where their SB ring is.

Ok, SD did not just tender sproles...
Because they saw KC interested…Who honestly believes that? This is the NFL we are talking about, let a player dangle, gauge the interest, it gives more leverage to the team holding the commodity people want. Plus why would we pay the enormous salary that Sproles will get for a glorified return man? He can’t run between the tackles, and let’s not forget that we got Jamaal Charles who is more than capable of breaking the big play. One more thing, JC can catch, so where would we put Sproles? He would be the highest paid decoy since Reggie Bush.

Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....
