Now we can add the Chiefs (and others) to that list, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
Florio reports Cody will work out privately for Chiefs defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel.
Cody said last week he feels he's the perfect 3-4 player.
"I feel like I’m that perfect 3-4 player," he told the National Football Post. "I took up those blocks for Rolando and we both did really good this season. He was running free and getting involved. After the first play of the game, I knew if they were going to run away from me."
Crennel of course is a former defensive line coach so that's his "specialty" if you want to call it that.
Cody's been projected all over the place in this draft from the Broncos 11th pick all the way to questioning whether he'd be available with the Chiefs second of two second round picks.
According to the report, he's also working out for the Redskins and Broncos -- again both 3-4 teams.
I've been putting together a piece on why picks 22-29 in the draft are dangerous for the Chiefs -- and Cody is kind of involved -- so keep an eye out for that later this week.
