It's a long time until September, and we are all wondering what our beloved Chiefs will look like next year. While I would be hastened to ask coach H himself, I feel his efforts are better spent elsewhere. The draft is just around the corner, and we all want to know...

    Who will the Chiefs draft? Not important. How can we go wrong when we need to fill so many holes? Personally, I think our #1 selection should be...from the university of Texas...Mr. Longhorn himself... Bevo. Just think about him playing nose tackle, and maybe an occasional full-back. May I regress, or progress, or what ever I'm supposed to be doing.

     Can Matt Cassel get it done? Not important. O.K., maybe that is important, but with so many holes to fill it doesn't matter... yet. A QB only needs to do two things. 1, don't turn the ball over. 2, convert on third down. and 3rdly, keep his lineman happy. Now that I think about it, 1+2  does = 3. This year should tell us all we need to know about Matt.

      Can coach H. step up his game this year? Let's face it. Todd isn't a good coach. Not important. It doesn't matter if he is a technical genius or not. It's about being fair, and demanding of his players, and it's about believing in others to do their jobs. Take a look at Mike Marx. He may well hold the title of "all time dumbest head-coaching calls in the history of the NFL", while with the Rams. He was willing to look like an idiot ( with all do respect, me too.) in front of millions of people because he believed in his team. If for nothing else, you had to respect him for that. The question is, can our coach gain the respect of our players?

     O.K., that's not the question. The BIG question is this. If Todd is to be demanding of his players, shouldn't he as well be demanding of his coaches? No, still, that's not it. If he is going to demand his players show up to camp in top physical shape, shouldn't he? Well, yes, but no. The big Question is this... Should he ask as much from his coordinators? There, I said it. Should Weiss and Crennel be asked to cut back on the BBQ? Let's face it. We need these guys to stick around a while. They are family now. What do you think...
