I've got a buddy who is a massive Notre Dame fan. It's one of those obsessions that kinda freaks me out at times. So, consider this post for him.
The Notre Dame women's basketball team, a two-seed in the NCAA tournament, will play three-seed Oklahoma in the Sweet Sixteen on Sunday in Kansas City.
Instead of killing time in the hotel room, the women will get a tour of Arrowhead Stadium.
Courtesy of the Notre Dame connection from Charlie Weis, the women will eat dinner at Arrowhead after taking a tour, according to the South Bend Tribune.
"We're excited," Notre Dame coach Muffet McGraw said. "We wanted to do something fun and different. We're looking forward to it."
Perhaps the Chiefs could make it a Notre Dame weekend and send Golden Tate along on the women's charter.
