Some experiments in there but i believe they could work. And if they do work, i can see this team going 9-7 and fighting for a playoff spot.

Somewhat Agree...
if we could get those picks, that would be great. However, I still feel the need to draft a center to promote competition and provide the Chiefs with quality depth at the position. I just don’t think Rudy is an NFL-caliber center. We need a new body that will eventually take the reigns and become"THE" guy…
Things to get the Chiefs back on the winning side of football:
1. Haley resign as offensive coordinator or do the following;
a. Feed JC more
b. Take the cuffs off of Cassel and let him air it out
2. Fire Clancy "Calls" Playslikeass
Not a bad draft
There already is a fanshot up asking for projected line ups

ok
just wondering is there is a chance of vrabel playing middle LB?
by Royals Time on Mar 24, 2010 11:44 AM CDT up reply actions
Unlikely.
If anything, mays, demorrio, and belcher continue to rotate and Vrable stays outside. Hughs doesn’t have to start though. Nothing wrong with coming in situationally behind vrabel and hali and then starting next year after a possible/probable vrabel retirement.
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
I actually could see Vrabel shifting inside on some plays
Not starting there all season though.

Linval Joseph
is not a guy i want us drafting. He is the last respectable NT on most big boards. I feel very strongly that we need to take Dan Williams, Terrence Cody, or Cam Thomas, even if it means trading up for one of them.
Williams is way too costly and not talented enough to trade into the top 16 with next years first rounder.
Terrence Cody COULD be there for us at 2A, but I think the Chargers grab him in the first so we could try to jump them. Thats my dream scenario because we get the talent and their draft gets screwed up.
But if all else fails I think the pick has to be Cam Thomas at 2A. Hes a good deal better than Joseph. I simply don’t see Pioli sitting and waiting around for a position of critical need. Hell pull the trigger with our second pick on an NT.
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
I agree
Williams, Cody or Thomas(who IMO is the better NT, better technique than Williams and Cody is IMO a 50/50 odds BUST power pig. We aren’t in a position to get this NT pick wrong. I think Cam Thomas is the safest pick at NT.
Other than that and draft a Center for depth and let him mature. Wiegmann aint gunna be around long. And not liking the Sergio Render pick.
Good looking team there Royals Time
Chiefs are going to surprise alot of people in 2010 !!!!

Yeah Kiper can call us reachers all he wants
But if Cody is gone and we dont move from our 2A spot, consider me thrilled with Cam Thomas as the pick.
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
couldnt agree more
i think with three 5th round picks, we have some room to move up. the NT is the most important part of the 3-4 defense, but i think williams, cody, and maybe even thomas could be gone in the first round because of so many teams switching to the 3-4.
Yeah, but how many of those 3-4 teams already HAVE their NT or BIGGER needs than that??
I know that you're afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin.
Give me Terrance Cody and I'll take it.
Could be a contender with that lineup.
Yes, I'm still alive. Sorry to disappoint you.

I really think Haley is the man for the job
If we take Cody I think hes the kind of guy who can smooth out the rough spots.
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
1st pick = Berry 2nd A. pick= Cody
And if hopefully Spikes falls, we can take him at 2 B. and suddenly our defense is Top 15 status for sure.

That would be nice.
Spikes is kinda like Tebow…I couldnt even fathom a guess as to when or who will draft him
A man who says he can, and a man who says he can't are both right. Which one are you?
Berry/Cody/Hughes I would be more happy with
M. Johnson in the late rounds for a big ILB.

Do we really think that Waters will move to LG?
I assumed Lilja would be our new RG, not push Waters to RG
Gronkowski and Staffold
Are both projected as 2nd round picks. Staffold is suppose to go really early in the 2nd.
