what about john jerry?

We all know that despite the recent OL acquisitions the chiefs are still in need of some inside help... wiegmann is probably in his last season or two in the NFL and lilja is coming off some injury problems... jerry has been playing LT, but is projected to be an elite RG in the nfl...  i think that if we pick up jerry with 2b and walton with 3 we have at the very least replacements for wiegmann and waters...

Didn't this guy score like an 8 on the wonderlic?

I think he had the lowest score, I’ll look for a link….but if so I doub’t he would be able to impress the Chiefs staff enough to take him in the 2nd.

Yep...I guess he had the second lowest wonderlic score...

Link…Not that Pioli takes the wonderlic too seriously, but we don’t need no doh-doh players.

Maybe we should think outside the box

and take him because he IS stupid. It’s just crazy enough to work.

Predictions:

1) Fans will feel just scads better from mid-to-end of the 2010 season.
2) During the 2021 season, Ryan Succop will become the Chiefs’ all-time leading scorer with 1469 points.

Ha

No way!!!! Way too much talent of the board in the 2nd round to pick up Jerry. I think this guy is projected to be a 4th or 5th rd pick. No need to pull a raider cryptkeeper type move in the 2nd!!!!!!

good player.. but NOT a 2nd rounder

Think 4th/5th rounds

* KC now has the best coaching staff in the league
* 9-7 is a real possibility in 2010 IF the Chiefs get 4 new starters
* KC will NOT draft a LT in the first round, and the draft WILL be heavy on defense

Also we have like 5 guards on roster

All of which could start and do just fine at guard. Waters, Lilja, Ndukwe, Niswanger, Colin Brown,

The first 3 picks of the draft will be defense. Pioli loves him some defense.

I'm not sure about Brown starting and do just fine

I do think when we pick Oline it won’t be the first, and maybe not the second depending who is there.

We run a...

zone scheme now so guys like Jerry are off the radar. We need more athletic, quicker offensive lineman.

1. Suh will fall to us at 5
2. McClain will fall to us at 2a
3. The Chiefs will trade DJ and keep Dorsey

Wow...

I'd love to see Pioli get Walton ... with our 2B pick ... I doubt he'll fall to 3rd Round

not familiar with this John Jerry guy … so I’ll take the word of some people (able) that I trust and respect opinionwise and just say “nope”

he's a BIG dude, and I think he can play

I wouldn’t want him before the 4th round, but he’d be a nice value after that

to clarify

that was about Jerry…

I’d take Walton in the 3rd for sure… consider him at 2b, depending on how the other picks fell
