Arrowhead Pride Fantasy Baseball league...
Okay so the draft date is set for April 4th at 8pm, which coincidentally is Opening day of the Baseball season, but this should be okay since the full season doesn't start till Monday.;
So for the fellow 11 APers that are in the leauge please be able to make it Auction drafts kinda suck without a full draft and you will get stuck paying full price for players that no on else wants (I know because I got stuck with David Ortiz last year) and will probably miss out on a shot at any players you really want.
Not gonna lie, I cant wait to do this thing.
So anyway back to your regularly scheduled football talk.

Gats..you punk!! How dare you go so long in between posts. What gives?
Allright allright, we’ll forgive you this time. I hate baseball or I would help you out man. But good to see your alive. (-:
Im kinda in DTR's boat, its just so "crowded"...
which isn’t a bad thing, And to be honest baseball is my first love, so its kinda consuming me right now… That and I have 6 weeks left in my Masters. Im still reading most of the stuff, but by the time I get around to reading stuff there is already a 150 comments and I just don’t have time to read all the comments, and I hate when people make comments without reading the previous comments, so Im not going to be that guy.
Don’t worry come August when the Royals are 20 games out I will be full throttle about the Chiefs, I already feel much better about the next Chiefs season, than the upcoming Royals season. And by August I should have much less stuff on my plate.

Agree on the Master's we need smart guys to keep us all honest :)
But maybe 5 games out would be awesome!

I did to snake drafts last weekend and I left a little depressed
since I had late picks in both drafts so I didn’t get a shot at any of the guys I really wanted. But with an Auction I should be able to get at least one of the guys I want or at least run up a bid high enough to hurt the other team… Win Win.

I bid all $260 on.............
Eric “freaking” Berry! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, I’m ready to go. I’m cutting back this year on my fantasy baseball addiction. I used to play 10-15 leagues per year. This year I’m down to just 3: My money league, my dynasty league, and the AP league. This way I can give these teams more attention to make sure I totally dominate. You’re all going down.

I'm guessing that if word got out about you and Tebow it would make the Tiger Woods scandel look tame.

If you have never done an auction draft...
I would recommend doing a mock Auction draft over at ESPN, you don’t have to finish it out but sticking around for the first couple of rounds can really give you a feel for it.

What would a #1 type guy go for?
I’m not debating who is the best, but what kind of money should one spend on a Hanley Ramirez or Albert Poo-holes?

Each league is different
Some leagues are pretty reserved and players max out in the upper 30’s others go a little crazy. I think Pujols went for $52 in my last auction.

Yeah it just depends on the stragegery...
I Prefer not to blow a fifth of my budget on one player… Id rather have 3 20’s than one 50 and a 10. So if everyone shares my belief the rosters will be pretty even… I have seen people blow 2/3rds of their budget on 3 players then fill in with $2 players, which is fine if you can get some sleepers…
The players will all be “pre-priced” based on what they go for in the other leagues
