a drafted Chiefs QB
I would still like to know when then Chiefs are going to find a real QB in the draft. I’ve waited since 1966——didn’t need one then but hey—-how long does it take? The closest thing I believe to a real drafted QB is on the roster right now——is 2nd string. Was there another Good one? I can’t think of one right off. Last time I brought this up, this guy brought up Todd Blackledge——just because some coach way back in history drafted the wrong guy——we’re never supposed to try again? Somebody please side with me on this and no I’m not so impressed with Cassell.

I would grab one in this draft late due to the fact that the CBA will come back in some fashion and Croyle will move on to another team. of Course there are a couple next year too

Well...
they are all bigger markets than Kansas City. Even Buffalo feeds off the Toronto market in Canada. And the Raiders always get the 2nd double header game on opening night because they are on the west coast, and have a big following. Even those fans won’t get disillustioned to miss their favorite team to start the season. And the Browns deal was some jackasses thought they were going to have some exiting high flying offense. If our offense can explode we will have a shot at a game for MNF. Probably against the Raiders on opening night.

we had like 3 in 2004 I think...
in 2003 we started 13-0 before losing to the Bung-holes – we had an exciting offense and were slated to be strong competitors again in ‘04. I’m pretty sure it was ’04, I went to see the MNF game that was played here vs. the Titans – colder than shit and snowing. Billy Volek hooked up with Drew Bennett for like 200+ yards but we still won.
I don’t know if we’ve had a MNF game since though… sadly.
