Yeah and though it might not mean anything there is talks of him falling out of the second round.

If we could snag him with out 3rd round pick that would be alright.

Are we sure this wasn't done over a series of weeks... or even several days?

If so, it is possible that the decision to draft Spikes at 15 was made prior to the news of his slow 40 time.

I haven’t seen him in the first very often and not at high as 15…I don’t think it was a shock that he ran the times he did….well perhaps a little but it’s been known that he isnt a fast dude.

seriously...I hate to be the guy that is happy that someone didnt do their best..

since it is a big money difference…but…of ALL guys to run slow…I am STOKED it was spikes…if he falls to round 3…I mean…I would be about excited as you can get about a draft(of course as long as round 1 isnt bryan buluga at 5)
