Nothing flashy in free agency, but added experience and depth to try to stabilize the interior of the line, and Thomas Jones very likely will be the best running back in free agency in 2009.

The Chiefs still lack playmakers, and this will be a process, but above all that, adding coordinators Charlie Weis and Romeo Crennel is no small thing. With Weis there quarterback Matt Cassel should have a proven infrastructure in place and every chance to succeed.
