Around SBN: Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire Vow To Fit In With Lin

So shouldn't there be some kind of market for Croyle? He's kind of small and scrawny and doesn't look the part of an NFL quarterback like the bigger Whitehurst does. But I can tell you from years of watching Croyle on the practice fields at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls that he can make all of the throws an NFL quarterback needs to make...While Croyle will likely return to KC for at least one more season, the situation bears watching.

So AP, should KC try and deal Croyle this offseason or hold onto him as a solid backup for Cassel?

keep him

he showed against the ravens that he can fill in and play decent ball. backup qbs are hard to come by

Sign him

give him a 4 yr deal!

Chiefs really need to hold on to Croyal for two reasons that stand out to me right off.

1st, He’s got every thing you could want in a QB except size. The guys smart we all know that, he’s tough and determined as hell. No one rehabs as many times as he has without being committed physically and mentally. He’s got a howitzer mounted on his shoulder, and he’s shown he can be an accurate passer.

2nd The longer he sits or the more playing time he gets, either way, as teams see more of him or as they become more desperate for QB’s, his value only increases. Let’s face it, if a guy like Whitehurst was worth what Seattle gave up for him, what will Croyal’s worth be in the future?

keep him

my only bag on him is the injuries – when he plays he plays well…

when he plays he plays well

but we still lose, isnt he 0-12?

Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....

Keep!

He seemed to play better in the Ravens game than anything he done in the past. Maybe he got his head straight, watched film, and took more snaps in practice. He seems to get injured so we have to watch that. jrcnc is right…then again Cassel has only won 4 for us. So we have to chance the losing mentality as a team…takes more than a QB.

Jamaal Charles...Enough said.

You know

would hate this guy to go somewhere and turn out to be a star. I say keep til Cassell really is the guy. Don’t need this coming back to haunt us. Plus with Weis here, i think he will know this year if Cassell is the guy.

Wait....Stop.....It is not hands that call us, tis desire.

With the new offensive line....

I think Brodie has a good chance of starting this year. We’ll see what happens in training camp.

I’m surprised there hasn’t been any free Agent activity on Brodie. I thought the Rams would show a little interest.

Brodie's better than Cassel

he has yet to prove he can stay healthy

no one is going to give up much for him, if we got offers for a 4th rounder for him I would be surprised

So if Brody starts this year

What can we get for Cassell?
