Tim Tebow is also attending the NFL Draft.
The Tim-Tebow-to-attend-the-NFL-draft story. http://is.gd/aMiIu
He might...
be the first 2nd round prospect to ever attend the Draft.
1. Suh will fall to us at 5
2. McClain will fall to us at 2a
3. The Chiefs will trade DJ and keep Dorsey

the NFL was talking about inviting several top 2nd round prospects
because the 2nd round is the start of day 2 now
* KC now has the best coaching staff in the league
* 9-7 is a real possibility in 2010 IF the Chiefs get 4 new starters
* keep Albert at LT, upgrade the positions that NEED upgrading.C, RG, NT, S, LB
thats a good idea
so the place isnt barren.
Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....
Yeah, they're doubling the number they're inviting ...
… just so they can still have people sitting there the second day, I guess.
Though, honestly, if he’s drawing that much attention from head coaches and GMs (and there was a pretty long list of people attending his Pro Day), I don’t see him making it out of the second round — someone’s going to take him too early if only because they’re afraid someone else will get him before their pick comes back around.
Does anyone have video of this?
I hate how this article mentions it but then fails to give any sort of expert reaction or video of the new and improved Tim Tebow.

ive been looking but havent found anything yet
it may have just been private, but with 3000 fans attending you have to think there would be something out there…………

I read somewhere
that he “fixed one problem with his throwing motion, but developed others”
sounds like he didnt’ really help his stock too much

Just watched it at MTD
I have to say, looked pretty damn good to me. Even the biggest Tebow basher on the planet Todd McShay said he’s improved drastically and dramatically.
My official call.
Tebow is drafted with one of the Patriots 2nd round picks.

i could see the Vikings trying to pick him up
if Farve is back for another year, Tebow may be the QB in waiting.

I just hope on draft day they take him in a round AFTER we pick
so we don’t get our coverage taken away like when brady quinn was drafted and they pretty much skipped our pick

KC Will Trade Derrick Johnson
+1
I hate when that happens on draft day. That will probably be a one hour segment.

Oakland will prob take him in the first round.
My long, drawn-out predictions that no one cares about, nor will bother to remember:
1. Todd Haley will still be the Chiefs Head Coach up to the 2011 season.
2. Clancy Pendergast won't make it to the 2010 season and was never intended to. Last-minute hire for a position that needed to be filled.
3. Todd Haley will not be the OC at the start of the 2010 season.
just so they can have
those 3000 fans rooting for them.

Nah .... not FAST enough!
But Oakland should draft Tebow, that locker room needs some SALVATION! Can I get an AMEN?

+1000
extremely hate when that happens. You know when he gets picked it will be all over for anyone else in the next 20 picks.

Any team that is thinking of drafting Tebow before round 5 would be better off trading a 5th to Miami for Thigpen. He’s more advanced, has more upside, and basically does the same things.
good ol' bones!

wow charlie whitehurst just got traded for a 3, and swapping 20 spots in round 2, and got 5 mil a year from the seahawks...
this is the guy who was drafted pretty much right before Brodie Croyle. But he has never attempted a regular season pass….

What!!!!
They gave him a new contract and everything? Looks like Carol’s 2nd stint in the league is going to fail. I didn’t think the hawks had a 2nd.

Carol's 2nd stint in the league will fail because he made a move for a backup QB?
Oh ok.

Are you a USC fan or something?
If they think Whitehurst is their future I would say it will be a failure. He wasn’t just a backup QB, he was a third stringer. The trade isn’t what is making me confused, its the new contract. He hasn’t proven anything in the NFL. Just my opinion.

But a backup QB for a 3rd round choice is kinda high, but definetly not a make or break kind of deal.

He is going to hold a clipboard
while Hasselback gets sacked.

i feel bad for Craig now
as his stock is rising so the chances of KC taking him in one of the later rounds is getting slimmer. i’ll give tebow this, he has one hell of a work ethic, and i’d take a chance on him. not at #5 but definitely in the 3rd maybe even the 2nd.
Seriously mates, when have I ever been sarcastic?
Oh and in case you were wondering, that hug offer is still there when you are ready UC :p
Yeah...
I think he is the only one capable of becoming a star after the obvious big 2. He is a 2nd rounder for sure.

agree
that’s why i can’t ever see us taking him because we need our seconds for bigger needs. though when you see the dedication he has to improving himself and his love for football, it’s hard not to want this guy.

I can see us getting Tebow
if we trade down from #5 to get more picks. That’s if we get another 2nd round pick.

that's one possibility
but trading down isn’t common so while i always hope we can, i never expect us too.

teabow doesn'y have the tools for the nfl,
but the thing about this kid – if you bet against Tim Teabow he’ll make you a poor man. I guarantee that chiefs fans.
You know, they kept trying to teach him mechanics in college. He seemed to do okay
but then he would get in to games, take pressure and then revert back to his old ways of just chucking the ball. I’m not convinced any improvement by him yet.
Yeah, let's just keep matriculatin' the ball down the field, boys! ...
