Chiefs Scouts Staying Busy With Pro Days
The Kansas City Chiefs scouts are staying busy with college football's pro days. For those unaware, pro days are basically mini-Combines held at the prospect's school. A lot of times, elite players will wait to workout until their pro day because it's in a place that they're more comfortable.
According to Chris Steuber of Scout.com, the Chiefs have attended in the last week at least the pro days for Oklahoma, Auburn, Western Michigan, Kentucky and Ohio State.
There were likely plenty more that they attended that just haven't been reported.
Though the NFL Draft is over a month away, scouts are in full gear getting ready for the big day.
We'll have an updated chart of the Chiefs possible draft interests coming this week.

Isn't Florida's proday on Friday?
Any chance I can get an AP press pass for that one?

they best be busy! this is one important draft...they may always say that, but this is really a make or break draft
Scott Pioli will find a way to make NT the biggest offseason priority.
KC Will Trade Derrick Johnson
I hope they find the next hidden diamond in the rough!
I hope these scouts find one of the “right 53” that will help the team win games. I have a feeling there will be a few names mentioned that none of have heard of, but come game time that name will be called over and over for making plays that help us win games!

TCU Pro Day
I was hoping to attend, but is was not open to the public. Do we know if there were any scouts there? I believe TCU has two players the chiefs have shown interest in.

NT
I agree with sdchief. If you stick with the 3-4 defense, you have to have a MONSTER at nose tackle that always takes a double team and sometimes a triple team. Our two NT’s almost always get handled by an undersized center alone. If we can’t get an impact player at NT, then go back to the 4-3. I hated John Madden when he coached at Oakland, however his core belief is mine. Football is won in"the trenches."
Thaddeus Gibson from Ohio St.
would be a good guy to pick up at OLB. Plus Ohio St. has a couple of defensive lineman who are big enough to play DE in a 3-4 that might go late rounds to undrafted one is Doug Worthington and I forgot the other guy but they have good size for a backup for Tyson Jackson if Gilberry and Gales don’t fit their mold. From what I’ve been reading of what’s out there KC scouts have been to some schools with some great talent plus I read the Chiefs are showing interest in the Ohio St. safety. I hope we can acquire more picks in THIS years draft. the browns are stocking up like NE lol. KC needs to get some more picks cuz this draft class is deep and i would love to have the chiefs be one of those teams going into draft day with a bunch of picks so scott pioli can show us what he’s made of. I think he just needs some picks to work with so he can do his thing.
I hope to see news that they've attended Tennessee's pro-day on March 17th!
That would be berry good news.

I'm excited about Montario Hardesty as well
I mean you can never have enough RB’s. And Montario Hardesty would be an awesome edition.
Hehehehehehe
Montario Hardesty, and McCoy
are later round pics that I would hope that we are taking an interest to… I wonder what Micah Johnson has to offer during the Pro Day since his injury.
Go Chiefs!!!!
I don't see Hardesty being a factor in the draft for KC
Not with the TJ, Smith and Battle signings. Too many holes to go looking for that much depth. But it’s always fun to tweak the nipples of the Berry crowd. They get feisty.
Actually Hardesty is projected around the 3rd round...
so I agree that we take a flyer on him… Williams, McCoy, are probably having a decent test.
And maybe some other scrubs that are Juniors coming out in the draft.
Go Chiefs!!!!
