Chiefs Hire Former Colleague Of Chiefs COO Mark Donovan
The Kansas City Chiefs COO is Mark Donovan and he came from the Philadelphia Eagles. Today the Chiefs announced the addition of Rob Alberino, who previously fulfilled the position of VP of Broadcasting with the Eagles.
Alberino was part of a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award winning crew for his part in the Eagles Television Network and he will be the VP of Media and Marketing for the Chiefs.
The addition of Donovan has brought about many changes with Chiefs media and considering his track record that's a good thing.
Donovan is currently the COO of the Chiefs and was previously the VP of Business Operations for the Eagles.
Here's some more information on the Eagles Television Network. Makes you wonder where the Chiefs are headed. Look at the changes to the Chiefs website since the arrival of Donovan. It's immensely better.

Does he have anything to do with the preseason coverage of the Chiefs?
that always seems really crappy to me when i lived in Missouri and got to watch it. CTN i think it was called. Is it still like that or has it changed?
Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....
Awesome. Welcome aboard.
What the hell is a COO?

Should be a Thum hire.
I think Hunt leaves most things to Pioli and Thum, and this isn’t football stuff which is Pioli’s responsibility.
Actually though...
I’m just glad we can ask that question now, as opposed to the old days when it was just, “Gee, look at what stupid thing Carl did today.”
True!
Too much power is unhealthy for any organization…Al Davis, the Post 90’s Jerry Jones, King Carl

Hunt
Must have given them both the A-Ok on any and all hirings.
That is a trait of winning Owners.

As Pioli said last week.
He has no ceiling or floor on the contracts he sets up. Basically a condition of his hiring.
wow
we get Weis and Crennel to coach then he brings in some of the best into his office. are we turning the corner towards becoming the very best in the league or what. We already know we got the best fans.
I am ready for the draft
