Looney: Primetime games for Chiefs?
Saw the MoLegg post, and wanted to share this, as I'm sure it's what he was referring to.

As a betting man...
I think most likely the NFL pencils us for at least one primetime game this year, even if it’s a Thursday Night game.
Too many storey lines to ignore and hopefully a monster draft.

Agreed
Plus, there are a LOT of primetime games to fill now. It’s been pretty amazing we haven’t had one since T-giving ’06 (a glooooooorious night).
Hope Looney is right and we open the home season in primetime. That would be awesome.
I hope they put a Chiefs / Broncos game on so the nation can enjoy Denver's ass kicking.

ooohhhh....
I just had to wipe the drool out of my mouth.
I may have to take two vacation days from work.
And...
There was talk that night, it would potentially be a permanent thing in KC. The T-Giving Primetime game.
Oh man that would have been amazing. We ate so ridiculously well at that tailgate.
Plus heading to the Plaza post game for the best night to go out all year in KC…ahhh, memories.
If Oakland got 2 PT games last year
There is no reason we shouldn’t get 1

The Steeler game was pretty awful too, from what I recall
I do think we’ll get one or two primetime games though. With Jamaal Charles breaking out the way he did, along with Weis/Crennel, there’s some potential for national interest there. My money would be on one of the Denver games & maybe the Arizona game. I just hope they can fill Arrowhead.
Predictions:
This year will be better
I bet KC Gets One
Clark Hunt probably has some leverage in those decisions – maybe not enough to get a primetime game every year. I’m willing to bet, though, that he has been saving up his leverage for the 2010 season to show off the new Arrowhead in primetime.
Add in the offseason acquisitions and the fact that KC hasn’t hosted since 2006 and we have a good chance.
KC will probably get one early
with a late season push into a PT game.
So full of sh*t that toilet bowls have to wipe.
Its probably been posted before. But when do they release the MNF schedule?
Does it just come out the same time as when the Regular schedule does?
"Without me, it's just aweso".- a possible comment made by Jamaal Charles and/or Eric Berry.
Yeah...
It comes out when the reg schedule comes out.
BUT, a couple weeks before, they sneak release some key games.
They include the primetime games for the opening weekend and the Thanksgiving lineup.
Right on, well I'll be patiently waiting to see if this primetime game talk pans out for us.

People are gonna want to see what this staff has done.

Crennel and Weis alone should get us one primetime game
and with the emergence of JC i think we will get one
Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....
Chiefs.
They will prolly be scheduled for a late season SNF game against a good team from last year. And if the chiefs dont play well all season then they could use the flex scheduling to move it to another game. Thats my guess.
I'm thinkin maybe the late game on the first week of MNF.
It wouldn’t be a home game, but the past couple of years (or at leat last season) they have telecast a late game on the West Coast, with either the Raiders or Chargers, or both, as their opening of the season double header on MNF. If we are scheduled to play one of them in our first game, we may get a prime time game, just not at home. I would hope we get some respect this season, and also get a prime time home game. What has it been, 3 years or more? Maybe if we end up in the running for the playoffs, later in the season, NBC would move one of our Sunday day games to Prime Time, using their flex schedule. I think it should be mandatory to have some type of rotation, where all teams get a prime time game, at least every other year , or so, especially early in the season, where everybody thinks they can go to the Superbowl, and no team has totally sucked yet. I do understand they need to keep their ratings up, and 2 and 4 wins seasons aren’t exactly making us a giant draw for a National Audience. The Raiders actually continue to have a strong National following, believe it or not, I guess due to their tradition, I can’t see the popularity myself, as they have had the worse record in football, I believe over the past 6 or 7 seasons, but there still is alot of fans of the “Black Hole.”oooooooh, frightening!!!!
