you know
the one thing that worries me is the fact that we have spent the least amount of money in the NFL. being a Kansas city team and having to root for the royals i dont want the chiefs to turn into the royals and this year looks like they very easily could. 30 mollion under last year and we were barely over the minmum last year. the NFL should watch out and not go the way of MLB because there will be alot of people turned off.
Who is not sure?
I don’t care if he spends 10 dollars, as long as our team is improving. How can anyone at this point not be satisfied?
10 wins in 3 years means you're not improving
So I can see how people would be upset.

Agreed
But I’m talking about right now, he has made moves and signed coaches that will only improve this team, and after this draft, IMO he will prove his worth. We now have the good coaches in place, and we picked up some good players on the FA market, now all we need is a good draft.
No, Pioli made those moves.
Give credit where credit is due. Hunt doesn’t make coaching or personnel decisions, nor should he.
No, not really...
Pioli made suggestions, Hunt decides by check writing or not. Hunt is where the buck stops.
Igorash
I don't think thats how it works...
Hunt doesn’t run his team like Al Davis, Jerry Jones, or Dan Snyder. A budget is set and Pioli is empowered to make his moves.
Until THIS team actually takes the field,
there is no way to know for sure if they are improving or not.
Common sense tell me
That with the coaches we have now and the players we acquired, we are all ready a better team.
I look at it this way
C.Weis is a great offensive mind and works good with QB’s, thus our offense and Cassel improves. R.Crennel, one of the best 3-4 scheme coaches in the league, thus our “D” improves.
I'm not sure...
he hasn’t done anything. Its all been Pioli thus far. Once he lines up another big time soccer game for Camarohead or doesn’t require me to pay for my tickets so damn early I’ll give him my approval.
We need a new pic of Clark.
Every time I see the one used in this poll, I have to do a double take. I keep seeing Parker Stevenson in his Hardy Boys days.
Maybe it’s just me.

I'm with ya
Thought the same thing.
"It aint what happens it's how you react to it that makes all the difference." I'm sure it was somebody wiser than me that said it first. I coach girls softball and use that line all the time.
Yeah, It looks like a HS senior pic.
A photo only a mother could love.
Scott Pioli's star will shine in 2010.
Win or lose, the Chiefs scare the bejesus of all opponents in 2010

This pic kinda creeps me out for some reason
But his mom says he’s a “fine young man” and conducts himself in “exemplary fashion” so I voted – Approve.
I think Clark is positioning the team for success beyond 2010.
It’s hard to look at the spending that has happened this off season and draw any real conclusion from it. IMO the teams that are spending like gangbusters are the teams that think they have a legit shot at the Superbowl this year. I think Mr. Hunt realizes that the Chiefs are long shots, and instead is preparing for the future.
Let’s say that a new CBA is agreed upon during the 2010 season, and the 2011+ seasons are capped (possibly even lower than previous levels). Some of these teams that are spending crazy amounts of money are going to have to cut talent to get back below the cap, and who’s gonna be there to pick them up and offer then a contract?
Our beloved Chiefs.

You mean like the bears?
I would say its teams that either have a shot at the big game, or gms/hcs that need to try hard to keep their jobs.

too cheap - does not care about FB like Lamar did
He’s always open. He catches a lot of balls. He’s un-guardable, no matter how old he is
