Around SBN: Kentucky Football: Tee Martin Reportedly Leaving for USC

According to Adam Caplan: NFL Reporter, Host-Sirius NFL Radio, profootball.scout.com, he did.

If this is old news to you guys, sorry. I just saw it.

Not saying we shouldn't snag him, but something else to consider.

I heard 2 conflicting stories

He failed the physical and the Colts cut him because he’s too small and they want to improve the run game. i think he’s 6’2 290…

Sign him anyway!!!

I don’t think the Colts would’ve paid out a roster bonus to him if he’d failed a physical. I’m sure there’s a contract clause that would allow them to keep that money.

+1

Give him your own physical, if he passes, let’s get him in here.

yeah and caplan has a question mark in his tweet

I also wonder if a failure is due to recovering from some sort of injury or due to general lack of fitness. It would be nice to know.

No

The question mark was from the person who was asking the question.

His ‘tweet’ was just ‘Yes.’

well, Haley

can get him back into shape if that’s the reason

get him

i’m sure the colts can afford to have way higher physical standards than us anyway

by irishking44 on Mar 11, 2010 1:54 PM CST reply actions

Nah

They actually paid the bonus, it was guaranteed.

He was due another 3 mil in salary, and cut him presumably to avoid paying that.

Rumor I heard is that he was cut for cap reasons...

With no CBA there is no cap penalty when players are cut. Lilja was going to cost Indy more than the guard they have ready to replace him who apparently is ready to go.

Anybody got the Gameday link? I am trying to hack the link from yesterday but can’t get it working. Thanks.

he's at LEAST worth a FA visit...

I’ll make some calls :)

* KC now has the best coaching staff in the league
* 9-7 is a real possibility in 2010 IF the Chiefs get 4 new starters
* keep Albert at LT, upgrade the positions that NEED upgrading.C, RG, NT, S, LB

Once he does "Body By Haley"

he’ll be fine.

sign em

bring him in for a workout at least…

also hearing Mike Martz in Chicago doesn’t see TE greg olsen fitting in his offense.
Olsen is a 2nd round tender, we got two picks in the second…dude is solid, caught 60 last year with 8 TDs
