March 2010 Scott Pioli Approval Poll
After a few down months, the Kansas City Chiefs main man Scott Pioli was back on top last month, hitting 91% in his February approval poll.
And judging how the Chiefs have performed so far in free agency this year, I expect the "Approve" votes to be even higher in March.

actually, this poll is simply a clever ruse by Chris to take our minds off the devastating losses of Wade Smith and Sean Ryan
bless you, Chris!

How can someone be "not sure"?
You either like what he’s doing or you don’t.
I’m just curious. To the people that choose that, could you give some insight as to why you’re not sure.?

well, remember that you need at least a full season to truly assess a player's performance
… how the new additions do, how the recent personnel losses affect us …

Ah, I see.
So, since Pioli will always be making moves and changes he will always be one year away from being accountable on an approval poll.
He’s one crafty fellow.

Easy.
You’re not sure you like what he’s doing. But you don’t hate what he’s doing. (approve, disapprove.) For instance. You approve what he’s done, but on the other hand You feel he could of done more or should do more. So you’re in the middle so you might not be sure.

C Mortensen is reporting that....
KC fans are mortified.
I voted approval
There are things I do not approve of (Last years draft, not upgrading the o-line until after the season started. etc.) But bringing in Weis and Crennel this offseason is pretty impressive. TJ and Chambers help as well.

the dude needs some rogaine.
but even with hair on top of his head he would still look like Carlson on South Park.
A good albeit nonsexy offseason thusfar
I’m more concerned on what he does with the draft.

He's building the depth
Something this team has been lacking for a LONG time. If the reports about KC being right there with Baltimore for Boldin are true, then he’s definitely trying to get this thing built quickly. I’m somewhat unhappy to see Wade Smith go, when the line is already thin, but I have to credit Pioli for sticking to his guns & not overpaying for marginally good players.
A lot of these young guys are approaching the end of their rookie contracts (Bowe, Hali, Flowers, Charles & Carr come to mind immediately) & we are going to need to have room in the payroll to keep them around. With that in mind it’s hard to blame Pioli for not lavishing free agents with cash.
Predictions:
This year will be better
I approved for now...
But if he passes on Berry next month. Ill burn his fuckin house down and slap him in the face with my berrys.

Suh is an exception though..
I don’t about Suh cuz he probably won’t be there whereas berry more than likely will be. I doubt Berry will be a bust but I see where your coming from. Ill rephrase it. “If he passes on Berry for Okung” ill be angry. But if Berry is gone ill shed a tear like Denzel in glory and be happy with whoever we draft (unless its Claussen)
