Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

Very difficult disease to live with, yet alone play with. My hats off to him. My father has been fighting this illness for years now. I will be rooting for McClain to succeed in the NFL.

Just saw that...

It is very treatable, right?

No cure, meds dont work, extremely painful! I hate that damn disease!

My heart goes out to him

but from a sheer football perspective I would be opposed to drafting him at #5.

It does make you wonder that

this admission will drop his draft status.

it has too

Not being an ass, but if I were a GM, I wouldnt spend a 1st rd pick on him. Seriously!

Wow, takes your breath away.

It’s like let’s have a moment of silence for him & pray that he fulfills his dreams while he is still capable. Sad time for a great athlete. God bless him,his family & friends.

its not THAT bad

but it gets bad. He hasnt let it affect him which is a testament to his will power and determination.

I still want him

Proves that he can overcome a difficult ailment and still become SEC Player of the Year and one of the best Linebackers in college football.
