Arrowhead Pride Mock Draft Participants Finalized
In six short days, the third annual Arrowhead Pride Community Mock Draft will begin. And as of yesterday, we have the draft participants finalized.
Many thanks to those of you who volunteered to participate and my apologies for those that wanted to but didn't nab a spot. Make sure you can commit to making two picks (or however many you have) in a timely manner if you're one of the volunteers.
Check out the draft order after the jump.

Did you not have Cardinals first?
Someone else made this list. I’ll double check.

It was kind of hard to tell primetime
…some people were claiming more than one team on their posts. I guess I should have made a list of 32 in the order I wanted them :)

Now now...
If you call him Primetime…the newbies will be confused :)
I have a feeling that 2010 will be a defining year for the Kansas City Chiefs. Do we become the 2001 Patriots or footballs version of the royals??

Since me and Craig had to you know... actually work while the spots were taken...
Can we be the official commentators after each pick that make the generic “Good pick for the Buc’s. They just got better” or “We should have seen this coming. Taylor Mays ran an unofficial 4.24 forty. It’s no surprise he’s now a Raider.”
My sentiments are likely to be summed up with one of these 2 quotes:

No they just have a cheat sheet of generic scenarios with comments to choose from:
Scenario: RB scores a TD from the goal line:
Comment: “See look at the point of attack right here”, circles a fat ass line man “Joe Crushurface opened a huge hole here. The RB just waltzed in”.
Scenario: DE sacks QB:
Comment “Look at the motor on this guy. He just manhandled the tackle and made the play.”
Scenario: Anything Brett Favre related:
Comment: “I sure would like get on my knees for him… er… This guy really is a living legend.”

Thanks...can I get decked out in Chiefs gear and make fun of the Raiders?
Was watching the “behind the scenes” show earlier this week of last years draft when the two N.E. guys got kicked out of Radio City Music Hall….that’ll be us :)

you need to ask
to get decked out in chiefs gear and make fun of the raiders?
its open season on both of them year round i believe

Chiefs gear is optional... Making fun of the Raiders is mandatory.

You guys should have let Craig have the Jags though.
The reaction to Tebow going #10 overall would have been awesome.

I'm not saying I would have taken him at 10
That being said, I’m still not convinced he WON’T go at 10.
If I had Jax I was going to wait till after his proday to see if and where I would have taken him.

seriously if you take tebow 5th thats a complete waste of time
Scott Pioli will find a way to make NT the biggest offseason priority.
KC Will Trade Derrick Johnson
I have a list of six players I'm considering at this point.
Jokingly, Tebow is number one!
Seriously, Tebow is not even on my top 50 list.

Oh well. Can't please everybody.
Btw, you might want to wait and see if I draft him first before you get upset. Just because I want him, does not mean I’m going to use a pick him. These picks are not about who I want, but who I think Pioli/Weis/Haley/Crennel/Hoffman would draft.

Is there going to be a post that will give detail into the process
of how exactly we’ll be doing this? Just so it’s clear to everyone and can be run smoothly as possible.
Chiefs draft wishlist:
Berry, then a combo of BPA and NEED

Ok UCrawford, upamtn, Larryemcdaniel, or DTR...
it’s up to one of you to draft Berry just to annoy all the Berrymaniacs on AP. Thanks. (j/k…… kind of)
I'll be going with "Player Name" as the fans of my team have indicated they want ...
… unless, of course, he’s not there for me, in which case my alternate choice will be “Player Name”
but I think it can be safely said that we have our eyes open for a number of palers, as there are many good players out there who can fill our needs, so we have an open mind and would really love to have “this” player or even “that” player, which doesn’t rule out the possibility of us taking a “different” player, depending on what transpires between now and draft day, because as all of you are aware, the situation is fluid with “this” or “that” player changing teams, and new signings being announced almost daily, and of course we ourselves continue to look into as many options as possible in order to improve our team, because we are never satisfied until we are the best, because we owe that to our fans and our supporters who want the best for this team, and I am truly honored and blessed to be a part of the process and all I can do is give you my promise to continue to upgrade this team in every possible way, and that includes looking at all options and ….

hi, Mo!
5 minutes!!!
what a terrible thing to say
illegal too considering that if it happens your guilty of a federal crime " collusion in the AP " punishable by having to root for the raiders naked. with only silver and black paint on at our next home game with them.
Can I be an alternate?
You know just in case, god forbid, one those guys has an untimely death and are incapable of making their picks. Maybe I could throw a hail of marry pass and get the Bears. You never know, they might pick up a 2nd rounder somehow with a Greg Olsen trade.
1. Suh will fall to us at 5
2. McClain will fall to us at 2a
3. The Chiefs will trade DJ and Dorsey
IMO Mushin
Has the best chance to be right on. Its so easy for the Raiders
1. Taylor Mays
2. Trendon Holliday

Don't forget Cole Adrich.
With the Raiders. It’s speed, strength, or the most random pick you come up with. Al Davis might want to take one of the best college basketball players.
by ChiefsFan90s on Mar 10, 2010 12:57 PM CST up reply actions 1 recs
Are you kidding me?!?!?!
Last year I had the Raiders. I had them picking Maclin in the 1st round and Loadholt in the second. Then Al goes bonkers, or better yet stays bonkers, and picks Heyword-Bey and some unknown safety in the second.
You know it’s bad when Mel “the Hair” asks, “Who the hell is Mike Mitchell?” When the Raiders took him at 47.
Though I learned. This year I’m not looking at anything but combine numbers to make my picks.
With the 8th pick in the 2010 draft the Oakland Raiders select....
Mine that Bird. He has great athletic pedigree and is a Kentucky Derby winner. He’s 7’1 1100 lbs and his 40 has been officially clocked at 2.8 seconds.
"Success is never ending, failure is never final."
... and the great thing is that Mine that Bird plays...
both offense and defense.
Go Chiefs!!!!
Too well known, the Raiders have to look smarter than everyone else
Though the safe money is on Mine that Bird, the Al found an unkown two year old gelding named “How crazy can you be?”
Al is in love.
I'm interested in
seeing how this plays out. I’m not biased or prejudiced towards anyone on here, but I am very curious to see who thinks the same way I do (which might be scary).
The studs from the 2010 draft class will be: DT Ndamukong Suh, S Eric Berry, RB C.J. Spiller, RB Jahvid Best, WR Arrelious Benn, WR Golden Tate, WR Mardy Gilyard, OT Charles Brown, CB Kyle Wilson and S Chad Jones
to make it so more people can play. I will give up my second rounder, if anyone that wants to contibute can. Only catch you can’t have one already.

Previously it was stated that picks were to be chosen by timestamp:
I chose the colts at 1:11pm
TheAngelsColts chose the colts at 1:11pm
Anyway you can get me the timestamp down to seconds as an admin?
my guess is it was done by the post that appeared on screen first ...
… I do know Joel is going over the entire list again … and the comments/times … with a fine tooth comb to make sure it’s 100% correct … as much as humanly possible

Im not upset
I just was wondering. I just wanted the ravens anyways. Any other team i would have just said what walterfootball says or Mayock or blabla says.
Dude...the Bills didn't make the move to LA in time for this Mock Draft?
So I guess that means I missed another year of this famed (an damn entertaining) AP annual Mock Draft! CRAP!!!!
I demand a recount! J/K
My solution to those who missed out of this year AP Mock draft, lets go back to our roots as a Chiefs fans….LETS create our own League!!!!!!!!!!
Opinions are like A--holes, everyones got one.
HOW ABOUT SOME AL DAVIS TYPE PICKS
Im hoping to see a couple picks in this community draft that are reaches. I want to see who you would take as GM, not who ESPN Analysts say the real GM should take/need.
Al Davis would do it, why not you?
Example: Thomas Jones and JCharles…
But in the 2nd round CJ Spiller is still there! You gotta get him.
:)
You can't reach enough
I reached last year with my Raiders pick. I took Maclin at 8. I apparently didn’t reach far enough when Al went balls deep and took Heyward-Bey
Finalized? WEAK
I submitted a request to draft for the Steelers in the first few minutes then at the end someone said no one picked the Steelers yet and they were awarded them
