OG Ryan Lilja or OG Chester Pitts?
Everybody on here seems to love the idea of signing Ryan Lilja (and for good reason). I was just wondering why I haven't seen anybody bring up any other OL names they want signed, specifically Chester Pitts. This guy has been the best linemen on the Texans since he was drafted 7 years ago, and has started every game for them since then. If we have to over pay a 30 yr old lineman who is a legit starter at RG in order for Ndukwe to not play there, I say we do it. What do you guys think?

I don't know about him at all
I think the love for Lilja is primarily because he is a KC native, and the fact that he has been so solid during his career. I’m all about bring in the best player available that is healthy, wants to play for us, and fits the KC profile as a team player.
If Pitts is that sort of guy, then bring him on.
could be Goff 2.0
would have to go to the Texans site and ask around and see if he is good or not.
Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....

Chester Pitts, G, Texans. Age: 31.
Chester Pitts is a quality guard, but he’s coming off a very nasty knee injury. He may not be 100 percent in 2010.
* KC now has the best coaching staff in the league
* 9-7 is a real possibility in 2010 IF the Chiefs get 4 new starters
* keep Albert at LT, upgrade the positions that NEED upgrading.C, RG, NT, S, LB
interesting
for what it’s worth… they list Wade Smith as the 14th best G available… Lilja is listed at 26th best…. Pitts is at 11th

the website address says it all
regardless we should be bringing in anyone and everyone for tryouts to get the best fit.
