Benn is somewhat of an enigma as a wide receiver. The first thing you notice about Benn is his impressive size, strength and speed. He’s also a very tough receiver who will go over the middle and is a solid blocker.
However, the more you watch Benn and the more you’ll see his flaws shine through. His hands are only average and he needs to improve his catching mechanics. Benn will also require a good wide receivers coach who can show him to run a greater variety of routes.

Interesting look at the Illinois WR. Good blocking skills have to help him with Todd Haley.

I think this assement of Benn is SPOT ON.
And I don’t think that Haley would like this guy because:
His hands are only average and he needs to improve his catching mechanics.
The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far is as needed?
all i know is...
Qb for illinois sucked monkey balls so hard to eavluate a wr with “juice” williams as his qb. Ditto for potential stud wr of georgia tech. Nesbit was terrible this year. Combine will really show if these 2 guys can catch.

I think both would be good fits, because they are good run blockers.
I would rather have Thomas then Benn.
Sorry, but the guy's got undrafted college free agent written all over him.............
Plus he’s got no hands…literally….like only 7 out of 10 fingers (when it comes to catching footballs of course) :)
Opinions are like A--holes, everyones got one.
