Dunta Robinson

hello,

There are rumors going around saying that the Houston Texans are expected to Tag Duntae Robinson again this off season this is just a thought  could we try and grab him and put Brandon Carr at nickel!  Just give me an opinion on this? then we can put flowers on the other side where Carr is and put Robinson where Flowers is at do yall think it could work? My opinion I think it could!

If we are high on a CB we can draft some pretty good ones with the pick/s

we would give up. Now depending on what we do and if the Texans tag/or otherwise restrict Robinson the picks would be 2011 draft and who knows if the 2011 draft will mean a damn thing :(

brandon carr

I just say that because of the plays that carr gave up in certain games Im not trying to bag on Carr I just think he would be a better nickel thats all

Carr was the recipient of the attention due to Flowers stepping up.

Carr might at least get a little help from the Safeties if they weren’t cleaning up the messes left by the ILB’s. Carr might well “Get it” with some coaching he didn’t get last year by Pendergast who was playing DC too.

right

I also think that E.Smith should be able to improve the CB’s just a waiting game but I think alot of Chiefs Fan would like to see improvement faster than later thats Why I put the poll up but regargless I’ll wait anyway it goes!

Isn't Emmit Smith the team's new dance instructor?

Besides, I don’t think Emmit Thomas would like Smith moving in on his territory.

My sentiments are likely to be summed up with one of these 2 quotes:

Dunta seems like a hassle

plus we would have to give up a high round pick……I think carr can only get better with quality safeties….and hopefully donald washington will come around

somehow

I forgot about Washington

either the texans work out some kind of bargain deal or he will be a free agent

with amobi okoye and fred barnett having great rookie seasons for the texans while stepping up for d. robinson there is no way that the texans tag him 2 years in a row im betting they will just let him walk so if we want him he will be out there

I do think...

cb is a high priority on our draft board. I wouldnt be surprised by a 2nd or 3rd round cb selection. Ghee(wake), Cox (ok st), kyle Wilson (boise st), Syd’Quan (Cal) and Owusu-Ansah (indiana PA) to name a few.

I do love these posts

They almost seem like mock draft posts. Atleast that’s where the conversation tends to go. Fine by me! I prefer talking about specific players or areas of need rather than guessing at picks and draft order and possible trading of draft picks.

No.

Carr, IMO, is a pretty good corner playing on a team that doesn’t pass rush very well and lacks dominating safety play over the top. I’m happy with Flowers and Carr on the outsides. Look at what needs to be upgraded more…. i.e., NT, LB and S. We need to put out the fire before putting fancier drapes on the windows.

Carr is gonna

do a lot better with more solid safety play. Sometimes as a CB you are relying on the safeties being in postion to provide help over the top. And you are counting on a pass rush that won’t give the QB all freakin day to find the open man (and there will always be an open man given enough time)……I suggest we do nothing about CB until we fix the other two problems three problems (run stopping) on this defense.
