RIP Derrick Thomas: Ten Years Later

It is with a heavy heart that I remind you this morning that ten years ago today, after a car accident on January 23rd, Hall of Fame Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Derrick Thomas died in a Miami, FL, hospital.

Wow

I can’t believe it’s been ten years! Being a Chiefs fan hasn’t felt the same since he died. I always remember the Chiefs flying the missing man formation for DTs father and the fire he would play with in those games. RIP DT.
