February 2010 Clark Hunt Approval Poll

Photo

After by far his lowest approval rating in December 2009 (70%), Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt bounced back in January to hit an 82% approval rating by Chiefs fans.

Today's approval poll is the final one of the month. If you haven't already, please vote in the Scott Pioli and Todd Haley polls.

Here is really the only story in the last month that Clark Hunt has been involved in:

Most Chiefs Ticket Prices Not Changing, Nose Bleeds Still Cheap

Only club level ticket prices will rise at Kansas City Chiefs games according to Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star.

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt said, ''The club level, where we have long-term contracts, is the only place where prices will go up. The rest of the building will remain flat.''

Make sure you vote in the poll. Previous month's results are after the jump.

Clark Hunt

is the only person that you KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that is doing everything he can to put this team on the right track to win, and win constantly.

When he was able to land Scott Pioli, I KNEW he wasn’t dicking around any longer and has the intention of making this franchise a model for the NFL to follow.

So full of sh*t that toilet bowls have to wipe.

Hunt's Okay By Me

I’ve got doubts about the man he hired to run things (Pioli) but at least we know he’ll hold people accountable for their lack of performance. If Pioli flops, I have little doubt that Clark Hunt will can him and try to find somebody better, and he won’t wait 20 years or even 10 to do it.

Belichick Was The Best In The Business

I’ve yet to see Pioli do anything here to indicate that he was anything more than a hanger-on in New England. His draft sucked, most of his free agent signings were busts, and his neglect of the o-line after he acquired Matt Cassel was almost criminal. And even his biggest nominal successes (hiring Weis and Crennel) make me wonder if he’s got an original thought in his head. He’s got a lot to prove this offseason.

Sorry but I disagree

Belichick is overrated and gets way too much credit for ne success and I believe people will start to realize that in a couple of years now that Pioli isnt there anymore. Pioli has been here 1 year not sure how you can say his draft sucked after just 1 season besides there was no one worth drafting at all last year. And for the o line there was no one worth getting that would have done any better than what we had last year.

Well, Let's See
Belichick is overrated and gets way too much credit for ne success

Went 10-6 in a down year, went 11-5 last season after losing his starting QB. I’ll believe that he’s overrated when he actually starts posting losing seasons. Oh, and the last three drafts Pioli supposedly ran while in New England? They all blew…so if you want to start pointing fingers at the decline of the Patriots dynasty, let’s start asking exactly how much input Pioli had into selecting the crappy players New England got from 2006-2008.

Pioli has been here 1 year not sure how you can say his draft sucked after just 1 season

Well, I say that because he got exactly two starters out of this draft and one was a kicker. The other players he drafted had trouble even making it on the field on a 4-12 team. And none of them look like they’re major diamonds in the rough…in fact, the best players from the 2009 season were all guys the previous regime drafted.

besides there was no one worth drafting at all last year. . And for the o line there was no one worth getting that would have done any better than what we had last year.

What, you mean like Michael Oher, who started every game for the Ravens and played well? Or Alex Mack, who made the All-Rookie team as a center and helped the Browns establish an impressive running game by season’s end (including a 300 yard effort against the Chiefs)? You think they weren’t worth drafting? Because frankly, they had better years than Tyson Jackson did, and much better years than our center and tackles did…and they were no more of a reach than Jackson was.

Approve

Without a doubt he is trying to make this franchise a dynasty. Plus he is in Miami showing support for Brian Waters.

This

He is interested in so many sports and events, but it always seems like the Chiefs are a main priority

He is young and enthusiastic!

I love that he hired Pioli to run the football side of things and kept Thum for business. CP had too much power and too many responsibilities to focus on winning it all.
He is also approving all of Haley and Pioli’s staff hires even though you know Crennel and Weis were not cheap.

If you dissaprove….give me a good reason besides we were 4-12.

I like when you hear that he tells Pioli to go out and get what he needs in FA.

I hope that is true and we see some offers to players that would be good fits.

re

He hires good people, shut’s the hell up and lets them do their job and keeps the team fiscally responsible. That’s may sound like something any idiot should know but everybody knows that owners that can’t even do that right.

I think "Not Sure"

should no longer be an option..

Because the question is basically “how do you approve of Hunt/Haley/Pioli NOW”…as in this month..there should be no excuse for a “Not Sure”..either you approve or you dont.

Its not like saying you approve or dont approve is the locked in answer for the rest of the year or his career in KC. Its something that IS GOING TO CHANGE throughout the season/offseason. I approved Haley as soon as he got here. After I saw the Waters thing and Bowe circus, then the demotion of DJ..I vastly DISAPPROVED of Haley..but as the season played out..I became a believer in Haley.

Yes, yes, I know this is about Hunt..but my point still stands with any of the 3 guys we approve of every month.

So basically..every month..at the time this poll comes out..how do you feel? And if you don’t know..think about what has been done, what needs to be done and what has been done, and figure it out.
