Chiefs Talk With OLB Thaddeus Gibson At 2010 NFL Combine
The Kansas City Chiefs drafted one player out of Ohio State last season. He's still working his way up the depth chart. At the NFL Combine this weekend, the Chiefs talked to another player from Ohio State - OLB prospect Thaddeus Gibson.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times, Gibson talked with the Ravens, Saints, Browns Falcons and Cowboys.
The 6'2", 240 Gibson is expected to go in the third round, according to CBS Sports.
DE Thaddeus Gibson - The junior declared for the NFL after earning second-team All-Big Ten honors. More was expected of Gibson, who had just four sacks. He could be converted into an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense.
The Chiefs also have two second round picks so they could have the option to move around up and down a little bit.
I haven't heard the name of too many outside linebackers in connection with the Chiefs. It sounds like they're trying to re-sign Mike Vrabel.
