I'm guessing Thunderf**k

is what we used to call “Northern Lights” back in the day.

Personally, I didn’t do shit all day. (Unless going to the grocery store counts) My lady is out of town…again. I’m bored off my ass. And I’m thinking of writing a Fanpost called:

“Should the Chiefs Use 5th Overall Pick in 2010 NFL Draft on any player? – ANALYSIS SAYS NO!”

If we don't get Golden Tate, then we have royally F*D up!

I just have a feeling about him, like Percy Harvin last year. I feel that he could come in an immediately contribute, and he also has crazy high potential. Plus his name is Golden and that’s just freaking cool

Basis for the Fanpost

Well the original Fanpost throws out a bunch of random, irrelevant “facts” in an attempt to prove that LT is not an important position and therefore we should draft his mancrush.

I can play that game with every position. For example: He talks about all of the change Albert had to endure last year and that stumped his growth and tehrefore he’s going to be great.

I can make the same arguement for everyone on the roster this year. They all had new coaches..new scheme..weight loss etc. Using his “logic” we shouldn’t draft anyone.

Seen a few drafts, now, that have put GRAHAM at #5.

I’m pretty open, myself. ‘Bout the only thing that’d make me gag would be ILB or RB at #5, as long as they bring in a PLAYER. And just because of my take on the current class and the high opinion of themselves WRs usually have, I’m not too keen on WR at #5, this year, either. I saw the barrel scrapings starting to show me that the offense was a lineman (or a couple-three more weeks of regulation) away from viability, anyway.

Much to recommend a dominant CB. Haden wouldn’t bother me. If Berry’s everything we hope he is, and more, then by all means. His reputation certainly precedes him, but like Steve_Chiefs says, it’d mean KC believed the kid could ALSO come up and play press coverage with the best of ’em. If not, then an elite safety is of lesser value to me than an elite corner.

I don't think Willams, McCoy or Suh

are out of the question as NTs at this point in the process.

This is my signature line. It is full of awesome and win.

by KCSatchmo on Feb 26, 2010 7:49 PM CST up reply actions

Tough to say, because I'm not certain of Williams' "true" playing weight.

Haley’s staff would have Williams at his peak weight (or I’m out in left field), and that weight might not be 330. At his best and most explosive, Williams might’ve weighed as little as the 3-teens. I think that for the Chiefs to go NT in the 1st, it’d have to be a guy who comes in at 6’3’’ and 330. But they’re still young and incomplete enough that if Suh fell to ‘em, BPA would trump all else. Not sure I’d say the same about McCoy, because I have this “he’s a 1-gapper” sense about him.

Also wonder what influence tubby old Crennel might have on conditioning goals for the widebodies. He might just tell Haley that he can build championships around Dorsey, Cody, and Jackson. That’d trump all the questions I’ve been raising about Cody in recent weeks.

But yeah, the one guy who looks like he has a prototypical frame is a question-mark in terms of weight. And no guarantees he’s even as good as the player we’ve already watched

But there is always a transition-to-the-nfl that one needs to factor in.

At 5’10, he really needs to be faster than anybody bigger than he is, or he’s a bust at #5… But I’ve seen enough picks NOT pan out in single coverage to think he’s as close to a sure bet as you’re likely to find. Rather than splitting hairs on whether or not Brandon Carr is good ENOUGH, if only KC can get a pass rush, we’d have a guy who can take the best WR out of the game and, in man off situations, take huge chunks of the field away from the QB (part of Berry’s appeal).

by hmills110 on Feb 26, 2010 10:28 PM CST up reply actions

We all know the Chiefs need offensive line

If we pick Russell Okung and move everyone one spot to the right will it make the offense better?

Haven't seen Crazies yet - but

Be careful on those home town movies; I seen Gamer recently (filmed in my hometown) and I can almost see the characters in the corner of my eye when I’m downtown ABQ.

My name is Farouk Bakoh, a Solicitor/Notary public, and very active in the legal practice in Nigeria. I am also an in-law to the late President, Grand Marquis Sanni Abacha. Now Grand Marquis Abacha is dead, and Mohammed the first son is facing a lot of persecution due to his involvement in illegal drifting activities during the rule of his late father. Also there are alleged fraud activities that Mohamed has been linked to with the father and, the government of today is after the family to recover everything. They have claimed all the family’s wealth, including one 2006 Mercury vehicle, and I am making this contact on behalf of my sister, Mrs. Miriam Abacha, the wife, not minding the consequences, but hoping that you would understand our predicament hence the need for your urgent assistance and co-operation.

My aim of contacting you is to crave your indulgence to assist us in securing the vehicle which incidentally is part of the family wealth. Fortunately with my immediate assistance, and contact, we were able to deposit the vehicle in front of the Djibouti embassy in Washington, D.C. pending when the whole situation will be calm. However, this Washington D.C Bureau of Parking Enforcement does not have any knowledge of the content of the vehicle, because it was done in the guise that the trunk contains precious stones. But owing the great risk we run presently due the new Democratic government’s initiative to freeze and recover all vehicles supposedly misappropriated by the late Grand Marquis Abacha, we wish to retitle said 2006 Mercury in a foreigner’s name to avoid any trace. Now that we are in a democratic government, this is our opportunity to remove the vehicle, and we are willing to offer you 15% of the contents of the trunk and glovebox after the transaction for your co-operation. All I need from you is an assurance that you can comfortably handle the size of the vehicle and that I can also trust you with this very arrangement.

Be rest assured that there is no risk involved since I have taken care of everything. I want you to immediately inform me of your willingness in assisting and co-operating with us, so that I can send you full details of this transaction and let us make arrangement for a meeting and discuss at length on how to transfer this vehicle. Also furnish me with your private e-mail address, Carfax report, Tel/Fax Numbers (Private) for a personal contact with you. Finally, I am trusting on your full understanding on this, hoping that there will be absolute confidentiality.

Awaiting with interest your response and hoping to develop good business relationship with you.

You've got yourself a deal

Just send me your social security # and we’ll be good to go. Also, I’m gonna need a credit card number as well.

If Berry falls to number 5...

and there is a possibility he can be for the Chiefs what T. Palomalu is for the Steelers… I’m all in.
