Chiefs Coach Gets An Award From His Alma Mater
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley was recently named the recipient of North Florida's Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award. It's described as the "most prestigious honor a UNF graduate can receive" and will be presented tonight.
Haley, of course, is at the NFL Combine this weekend so he won't be present for the award.
"I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to the University of North Florida," said Haley.. "I am truly humbled to receive UNF's Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award. I hold my education from the University of North Florida in very high regard, and I would be proud if any or all of my children decided to follow in my footsteps someday."
Haley received a degree of communication from UNF in 1991. He's also probably the most recognizable alumni from the university.

Oh c'mon
I can’t be the only one who finds it ironic that Haley holds a degree in communications.

You'd think they could schedule the event around the combine
so their most famous alumni could attend. Odd.
Predictions:
This year will be better
What no comments about his Fbomb?
are we that used to him saying it or just relaxed to anyone saying it in the media again. Im really just messing with yall, but I do have a question.
With the article on Okung, which was excellant by the way, and his background…if we draft him could we be in a situation down the road with Haley-Okung similar to the Peterson-Tait thing years ago?
Winning begins with Attitude - Haley and Pioli will be winners in KC!
I'll forever be a Chiefs fan! Only God himself could take that away from me, but when I get to my great reward, I'll rejoin two bigger fans, my Mom and Dad.
