Today the Packers slapped Ryan Pickett with the franchise tag. This move makes the three best NTs (Wilfork,Franklin,Pickett) unavailable unless they are traded to a new team. Is there anyone else we think the Chiefs could use that we dont draft?

As we all know is that even though the Patriots franchised Wilfork he could still be available and if anyone can swing a trade it would be none other than The Don himself but if that doesnt happen here are the available guys that we may consider picking up.

Jason Ferguson: Ferguson would not be a starter if picked up but would be able to sub in and out because he already knows the 3-4 and is still a pretty knarly player. Ferguson had 23 tackles from the 3-4 defense this season in Miami.

Ian Scott: Scott has played for the Chargers the last two season. Scott produced 16 tackles and 1 sack last season playing sparingly. Again Scott would not fill the need at NT but would be an option to help out.

All in all there isnt a lot of guys even worth looking at left to fill the NT spot in KC so look for KC to either draft a DT in the early rounds or swing a big trade for one of the franchised NTs.
