As we get ready to start a new decade of football I thought it would be good to ask AP to look back and talk about our favorite Chiefs games of the last ten years. I really enjoyed the Steelers and Broncos wins this year, but for my favorite I have to go back to the days of Dick Vermiel.
I think my favorite game of this decade was the 2004 Monday Night game in Baltimore. Ray Lewis was miced up and the Ravens defense was in their prime. Jammal Lewis was also a force to be reconed with. The Chiefs came in and pounded the ball on them, winning the game 27-24. Priest Homes had a huge day. I just loved watching Ray Lewis get owned all night long by the Chief's blockers. Will Shields painted a bullseye on him and was all over him the entire game. My favorite game came with my favorite moment, Ray Lewis, miced up on the sideline, whining to his coach that he wasn't making any plays because the Chiefs kept double teaming him. It was classic, and I'll never forget it. Monday Night Football baby.
What is your favorite game?
