A Few Chiefs Headed To Harvard, Wharton School Of Business
In the past, Kansas City Chiefs players have taken advantage of a NFL program that is aimed at giving players a better background in business.
Chiefs RB Jackie Battle is interning with the Positive Coaching Alliance, which isn't affiliated with the NFL's Business Management and Entrepreneurship Program.
Courtesy of Josh Looney at KCChiefs.com, we learn that a few more players are taking advantage of the NFL's business program.
The program is part of an ongoing NFL-NFLPA initiative to assist players in preparing for their post-playing careers. 502 players have participated in the program since its inception in 2005. This year, 77 NFL players are involved.

What they will learn
is some very adept business and accounting principles.
For instance, addition by subtraction and subtraction by addition. When to use percentage increase or decrease because it LOOKS better than raw dollars increase or decrease (this goes back to the age old idea of pay increases we have all fell victim to. You know those 2% across the board increases said to be the same for everyone. There was just one problem, I was making $10 an hour the other guy was making $20 an hour).
This will all be very important as the current CBA comes to an end.
