I'm not sure if anybody read this piece by Sam Mellinger or not, but it really pissed me off. He's discussing how he doesn't know whether or not to fully trust the veracity of Dwayne Bowe's emotional turnaround, which is a completely fair story. However, during a recent press conference with Bowe, Mellinger reports the following: ...when told it would only be human nature to feel a sense of accomplishment and arrival with his personal and team success, [Bowe] responded, "I don’t think I’m human then." This is our media folks. Dwayne Bowe is, at the very least, making an effort to change (which is more than I can say for a great number of NFL players) and, not only is that story--fairly unique in professional sports--not good enough for these reporters, they try to goad him into saying something counterproductive; they, in essence, attempt to shape the news by causing conflict that didn't otherwise exist. Sensationalist. Uninformative. Pathetic. CRB
